LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears safety Chris Harris sat out Wednesday's practice with a hip pointer, but the veteran insists he will play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.
"It feels a lot better," Harris said. "I got two days of good treatment in. All this week, I'm practically going to sleep over here at Halas Hall. I told my wife she won't see me at all this week, because I'll be here making sure I'm right and ready to go.
"I can't see myself missing this game. This is the biggest game of the year thus far. I can't see myself not out there."
Harris hurt the hip in the first half of the Bears' 35-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. With Harris out for much the game, rookie Major Wright and veteran Josh Bullocks both saw action at safety next to Danieal Manning.
