Ladd back with Hawks for Game 4

PHILADELPHIA -- Chicago Blackhawks winger Andrew Ladd was in the lineup for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals Friday night.

Ladd made his debut in the championship series Friday night against the Philadelphia Flyers after missing three games with an undisclosed injury he sustained in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.

He has two goals and an assist in 16 games this postseason. Ladd was called for interference just 36 seconds into the game.

Ladd skated with the team for the third straight day Friday morning, doing drills with the players who have been healthy scratches.

The Blackhawks also swapped out defensemen, inserting Nick Boynton into the lineup for the first time this postseason. He replaced Jordan Hendry.

Adam Burish sat out in place of Ladd for the Blackhawks, who led the series 2-1.

The Flyers sat down enforcer Daniel Carcillo for James van Riemsdyk.

Carcillo didn't play in the series opener. He had no points and four penalty minutes in the previous two games.

Van Riemsdyk has two goals and two assists in 18 games this postseason.
