Afterward, Pronger was asked if he knew where the Game 6 winning puck was.
"I don't know where that puck is," he said. "I thought you were talking about Game 2. Game 6, I was on the bench. I was a little disappointed at that point to skate all the way down there and take the puck. That might be a little much. If I'm on the ice and it's right in front of me, that's a different story."
Pronger and Ben Eager of the Blackhawks had words after Pronger took the puck from Game 2, a Blackhawks 2-1 home victory.
"[The Game 2 puck] will end up on eBay at some point," Pronger joked. "All proceeds will go to charity."
As for the Game 6 puck, the mystery continues.
"I would think one of them [Blackhawks] would have grabbed it," Pronger said. "Maybe the referees have it."
