Marian Hossa out vs. Wild due to illness

Marian Hossa missed the Chicago Blackhawks' morning skate as well as Tuesday's game against the Wild due to an illness.

"We'll say [he's] questionable going into tonight's game," coach Joel Quenneville said earlier Tuesday, according to NHL.com. "He wasn't feeling well this morning. We'll see how he is tonight."

Forward Jonathan Toews also missed the morning skate, but played in Tuesday night's game despite a lower-body injury that occurred Saturday during a road win at the Red Wings.

Toews looked to be affected by his injury during Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Flyers. He absorbed a hard hit from the Flyers' Mike Richards during the second period and wasn't skating at full speed for several shifts.

Quenneville doesn't think the hit from Richards aggravated Toews' injury.

"I don't think that had anything to do with the injury," Quenneville said, according to NHL.com. "He's fine. He's a competitive kid. He should be ready to go tonight."

Despite also missing Monday's practice, Toews plans on participating in this weekend's NHL All-Star Game.
