Blues enter deal with AHL Wolves

The Chicago Wolves of the AHL have entered into a three-year deal with the St. Louis Blues.

"We are very excited about the relationship we are starting with the St. Louis Blues," Wolves general manager Wendell Young said in a statement. "The Blues have the same philosophy about their players on both the NHL and AHL level as we do, and that is maturing them in a winning environment. Part of player development is teaching players how to establish a winning attitude on and off the ice and I think we have a great recipe to pass onto St. Louis' players."

The Wolves previously were the AHL partner of the Vancouver Canucks.
