Selected in the first round of the 1986 NFL draft to eventually be the successor to Bears legend Walter Payton, Anderson posted three straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons from 1988-90. His best season was in 1988, when he rushed for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns along with 50 receptions for 434 yards and four TDs. A four-time Pro Bowler, Anderson's 6,166 yards rushing is second in franchise history behind Payton.
