Road To Bourbonnais: Jay Cutler

It would appear Jay Cutler, left, is at a crossroads in his career. Cutler was not given an extension and will be on the last year of his contract. If he doesn't produce, he could be wearing a different uniform next season. The 30-year-old has been in the NFL seven seasons, so talk of potential has been replaced by expectations of success. He has one of the best receivers in the league in Brandon Marshall, an above-average back in Matt Forte, an improved tight end in Martellus Bennett and an upgraded offensive line, so excuses will be at a minimum. It's true he'll be working under his fourth offensive coordinator in five years in Chicago, but the offensive background of head coach Marc Trestman should help.
