Forty-eight victories didn't seem likely for the Chicago Bulls in November when Derrick Rose went down with another knee injury, but once again Tom Thibodeau's crew showed that it can never be counted out.
But the regular season proved to be the end of the Bulls' good times. A disappointing loss to the Washington Wizards in the first round of the playoffs has given the Bulls an earlier-than-expected vacation and kicks off an offseason full of big decisions for management.
