Join Chauncey Niziol of Chauncey's Great Outdoors for a live broadcast in the banks of Braidwood Lake. Chauncey will kick off Exelon Nuclear's "Fishing for a Cure" charity bass tournament with a live remote broadcast on Saturday, May 18th from 6am-7am.
The ESPN Chicago Street Team will be there from 2pm to 4pm for the weigh-ins and awards, giving away great prizes from ESPN Chicago and Chauncey's Great Outdoors.
For the fourth year in a row, Exelon Nuclear's "Fishing for a Cure" reached its maximum participation limit of 100 boats, which will benefit Greater Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
Although space in the bass fishing tournament is sold out, there's still plenty of room for young anglers at the children's tournament that will be held on Saturday, May 18, at the Godley Park District. The children's tournament is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $5 per child.
