ESPN Classic will celebrates the 2001 Australian Open by presenting some of the most memorable matches in the tournament's history.

Pete Sampras, Chris Evert, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Jim Courier and Monica Seles will all be featured. Please join us on Sunday, Jan. 14 from noon to 7 p.m. ET in celebrating the first Grand Slam tournament of the tennis season. Here's the schedule:

noon - 7 p.m. ET

  • noon - 1988 Australian Open Final
    Steffi Graf vs. Chris Evert
    Graf downs Evert 6-1, 7-6 for her second Grand Slam victory.

  • 1 p.m. - 1993 Australian Open Final
    Monica Seles vs. Steffi Graf

    Seles unleashes seven aces to sweep past Graf in three sets, solidifying her No. 1 ranking and giving her a third consecutive Australian Open title.

  • 3 p.m. - 1995 Australian Open Quarterfinal
    Pete Sampras

    Troubled by the declining health of his coach Tim Gullikson, Sampras breaks down and cries during the match but comes back from two sets down for the second straight match and wins in a four-hour marathon.

    Andre Agassi vs. Pete Sampras

    Agassi, playing in this tournament for the first time, captures his second straight Grand Slam championship with a four-set victory over Sampras.
