ESPN Classic will celebrate Syracuse by presenting some of the most memorable games and athletes in Orangeman history. Jim Brown, Dwayne "Pearl" Washington, Donovan McNabb and Don McPherson will all be featured. Here's the schedule:

Saturday, Jan. 13
noon - 9 p.m. ET

  • noon - SportsCentury: Jim Brown

  • 1 p.m. - College Basketball: Georgetown @ Syracuse (1985)
    Dwayne Washington puts Syracuse in front on a 15-foot jump shot with eight seconds to play, and follows with a free throw as the ninth-ranked Orangemen hand No. 2 Georgetown their second straight loss, 65-63.

  • 3 p.m. - College Football: Virginia Tech @ Syracuse (1998)
    Donovan McNabb throws a 13-yard TD pass to Stephen Brominski on the final play of the game to lift Syracuse to a 28-26 victory over 16th-ranked Virginia Tech.

  • 5 p.m. - 1996 West Regional Semifinal: Syracuse vs. Georgia
    After wiping out a nine-point deficit in the final three minutes of regulation, and getting a buzzer-beating basket to force overtime, the Orangemen go on to win 83-81 on John Wallace's three-pointer with 2.8 seconds left.

  • 7 p.m. - College Football: West Virginia @ Syracuse (1987)
    Don McPherson's 17-yard TD pass to Pat Kelly with 10 seconds left, and Michael Owens' two-point conversion run enables undefeated Syracuse to beat West Virginia, 32-31. Syracuse completes its first undefeated season since its 1959 national championship season.
