Classic Yankees at Cubs Road Show

Andre Dawson
Andre Dawson, an eight-time All-Star and 1987 NL MVP who spent 21 years in the big leagues, played with the Cubs from 1987-'92.
Hosted by Scott Van Pelt and former Cy Young winner Rick Sutcliffe and sponsored by Miller High Life, the New York Yankees at Chicago Cubs Road Show will air live on Sunday, June 8 from 5-7 p.m. ET.

The show will feature the history of both storied franchises and look back at the last time the teams faced each other, the 1938 World Series. Guests expected to be part of the celebration include: Ernie Banks, Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Steve Trout, Ron Santo, Goose Gossage, Graig Nettles and Tommy Henrich. Henrich played for the Yankees the last time they visited Wrigley in 1938. He's one of two living former players from the 1938 Series (Phil Cavaretta, the other, played for the Cubs). The Yankees and Cubs then square off live on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.

Adding to the importance of the series, Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens goes after his 300th win on June 7 and the questions continue to surface about Sammy Sosa and his corked bat.
