Harvard University Athletics

Cambridge, Mass. | Nov. 23, 1968

It may just be that this game is remembered because of a headline: Harvard Beats Yale, 29-29, read the Harvard Crimson, the school's student newspaper. Harvard scored two touchdowns and two two-point conversions in the final 42 seconds, the last with zeroes on the clock. Quarterback Frank Champi completed a pass to Pete Varney for the last deuce, and the Crimson saved their undefeated record.
