A Clemson fan's worst nightmare: The No. 15 Tigers blew a 24-0 lead at archrival South Carolina, falling behind 27-24 with 1:39 to play. Quarterback Steve Fuller completed a 67-yard drive by finding Jerry Butler for a 20-yard touchdown with :49 remaining. Butler leaped high, stretched backward, and caught the ball over his helmet before falling into the end zone. It is the most memorable play in a most memorable rivalry.
