Source: Kansas State will not be blocking QB Alex Delton's transfer to TCU, despite media speculation on Wednesday. Delton, a grad transfer, will be eligible for '19 season. Like Oklahoma with QB Austin Kendall/West Virginia, Kansas State had option to block Delton from playing for TCU this season.

Hurts gives the Sooners and coach Lincoln Riley yet another high-impact transfer QB. Unlike Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, however, Hurts will be eligible immediately for the 2019 season, as a graduate transfer. And even though Mayfield and Murray won back-to-back Heismans, neither arrived in Norman with the experience or fanfare that Hurts will bring from his last three years with the Crimson Tide. His arrival instantly makes the Sooners a contender to reach the playoff for a fourth time in five years.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts announced in a story on The Players Tribune that he will play his final season at Oklahoma. As a grad transfer, he's eligible immediately. The Sooners have produced back-to-back Heisman Trophy winners with transfer QBs (Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray), and Hurts' skill set appears to fit Lincoln Riley's offense well. Hurts visited Oklahoma on Saturday, in addition to visits to Maryland on Friday and Miami on Sunday.
