COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Missouri running back Henry Josey was carted off the field after injuring his left leg on a carry in the third quarter against Texas (No. 16 BCS, No. 21 AP).
Texas coach Mack Brown came across the field to check on Josey, the Big 12's leading rusher from Angleton, Texas.
Josey missed the last nine minutes of the first half after an apparent helmet-to-helmet hit.
Texas' starting running back, Foswhitt Whittaker, left the game after twisting a leg in the first quarter and did not return.
