Denard Robinson sidelined again

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan senior quarterback Denard Robinson did not start for the second straight game due to a ulnar nerve injury in his right elbow.

Robinson dressed and went through warmups as the Wolverines prepared to face No. 24 Northwestern, but junior Devin Gardner made his second career start after completing 12-of-18 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns against Minnesota last Saturday.

Robinson has completed 89-of-166 passes this season with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions, along with running for 946 yards and six touchdowns. He was injured in the second quarter of Michigan's 23-9 loss to Nebraska two weeks ago and did not return to that game.
