CLEMSON, S.C. -- Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said starting wide receiver Martavis Bryant will have his playing time reduced against Wake Forest because he made throat-slashing gestures following a touchdown catch against North Carolina State last week.

Swinney said Tuesday that he was unaware of Bryant's antics until reviewing tape of the game.

The coach said the gestures are not representative of the Tigers program and that Bryant will face discipline.

Third-ranked Clemson (3-0, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) plays host to the Demon Deacons (2-2, 0-1) on Saturday.

Bryant caught two touchdown passes in visiting Clemson's 26-14 victory over NC State on Thursday night.

The Tigers will also be without reserve offensive lineman Isaiah Battle against Wake Forest. Battle was suspended by Swinney for punching a Wolfpack player late in the game.
