Army last reached a bowl in 2010, the school's only bowl appearance in 19 years. After a 3-2 start, the Black Knights are on track to return to a bowl game in coach Jeff Monken's third season.

According to ESPN's Football Power Index, the Black Knights have a 98 percent chance to reach six wins and qualify for a bowl. Army also has a decent 42 percent chance at knocking off Navy on Dec. 10. The Black Knights haven't beaten the Midshipmen since 2001.

ESPN's Mark Schlabach projects Army to play in the St. Petersburg Bowl against South Florida.
