Michigan State's equipment managers troll Purdue with photo of visitor's locker room

Harbaugh not happy about visiting team facilities in Big Ten (2:24)

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh says Purdue's facility is "no different from when I was there in 1986." (2:24)

A day after Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh criticized the visitor's locker room conditions at Purdue, Michigan State's equipment managers executed some expert-level subtweeting aimed at the Boilermakers.

The Spartans even included an X-ray machine in the photo, referencing Harbaugh's complaint that quarterback Wilton Speight had to leave Ross-Ade Stadium for further examination after an injury when he took a hit high near the back of his neck.

Purdue issued a statement following Harbaugh's remarks, opening the door for a discussion within the Big Ten, saying the team would "fully support a conversation regarding a conference-wide set of guidelines." However, Purdue did call these "after-the-fact" concerns "surprising" because a Michigan football staff member visited the facilities in July.

Wolverine and Spartan fans can equally appreciate the shade thrown in the tweet, but won't be united for long, as Michigan and Michigan State play in Ann Arbor Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
