Kareem Walker, the No. 1 running back in the 2016 class, has decommitted from Ohio State. Walker had committed to the Buckeyes in January.
The New Jersey prospect, ranked No. 31 overall, released a statement saying his relationship with Ohio State, which currently has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, has changed and he has been thinking about this decision for months.

Walker said in the statement that he will take visits to schools including Alabama, Ole Miss and Arizona State. The four-star back already took an official visit to Michigan in October, which caused a stir given that he was committed to the Wolverines' rival.
It isn't clear yet whether Walker will take a visit to Ohio State, which was previously planned, but Walker said he won't be commenting on his recruitment until he signs his national letter of intent and enrolls for the spring semester.
