Source: Michigan has hired Arizona State defensive line coach Shaun Nua for the same position. Several reports surfaced Wednesday about Nua but the agreement wasn't finalized until earlier today. Nua spent one year at ASU after six as Navy's defensive line coach. The former BYU defensive lineman and coach played four seasons in the NFL. He replaces Greg Mattison with the Wolverines.

Gattis leaves Alabama to become Michigan OC

Former Alabama co-offensive coordinator Josh Gattis has left Tuscaloosa to become the offensive coordinator at Michigan, the school announced Thursday.

Confirmed Michigan linebackers coach Al Washington is also leaving Michigan to join the Ohio State staff. Washington coached with Ohio State coach Ryan Day at Boston College and Washington's father played at Ohio State.
