Syracuse coach Dino Babers on saying good-bye to his seniors Saturday: "They're going to be the cornerstone of what we're going to get done in the future. There's no doubt we're going to win here. But the 2017 class should get credit for that. I hope when these young men come back in 2018, 2019 and 2020 when things are different, the people in the community give them the due they deserve."

Jackson, Louisville roll in the rain past Syracuse 56-10

Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson had another big game against Syracuse, accounting for 381 yards and four touchdowns and becoming the school's career yardage leader while leading a rain-delayed 56-10 rout on Saturday.

Syracuse coach Dino Babers said Louisville QB Lamar Jackson is having a better year than he did when he won the Heisman last year. Babers added, perhaps hopefully, "I wish him the best in the NFL." Jackson is a junior, who could enter the draft at year's end.
