Holgorsen's son, 3-star QB, flips commitment

Dana Holgorsen's son Logan has flipped his commitment from North Texas to Bowling Green. The younger Holgorsen is a three-star quarterback prospect.

Bowling Green hires Carl Pelini as defensive coordinator. Pelini had held the same position on his brother Bo's staff at Youngstown State after being fired as Florida Atlantic's head coach. Carl Pelini also was Nebraska's defensive coordinator for four seasons under Bo and returns to the Mid-American Conference after coaching on Frank Solich's staff at Ohio for three years.

Doege, Clair lead Bowling Green past Kent State 44-16

Jarret Doege threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, Andrew Clair surpassed 100 yards rushing for the fourth straight game and the two freshmen led Bowling Green to a 44-16 win over Kent State on Tuesday night.
