Three coaches from the state of Alabama -- UAB's Bill Clark, Auburn's Gus Malzahn and Alabama's Nick Saban -- are among the 16 semifinalists for the George Munger Collegiate Coach of the Year Award presented by the Maxwell Football Club. Saban and Malzahn have their teams in position to make a run at the College Football Playoff, and Clark has taken a program that was shut down and has it bowl eligible in its first season back.

Auburn releases contracts of offensive assistants

Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey is set to make at least $800,000 annually under a three-year deal. The university released the details of contracts for Lindsey and fellow first-year assistants Larry Porter and Greg Brown on Wednesday.
