A peculiar decision by Toledo coach Jason Candle to take a delay-of-game penalty rather than use a timeout led to a missed field-goal attempt. Because of the miss, Appalachian State hung on to win, 31-28, and the Mountaineers are Camellia Bowl champs for the second straight year.

Appalachian State and Toledo trade touchdowns, and then Darrynton Evans puts the Mountaineers back in front with a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. It's 28-21, and there's still a full quarter remaining.

It's been tough sledding for Kareem Hunt today, but the Toledo running back just ripped off a 26-yard touchdown run to tie the game at 14. Hunt, who has 41 yards on the day, is now the school's all-time rushing leader with 4,865 career rushing yards.
