No. 3 Florida State needed to keep momentum going with Louisville next, so the starters could play into the third quarter. It was not been a great second quarter with an interception, blown coverage and a few sacks. Ideally the starters would be out by now, but Jimbo Fisher was not happy.

Jacques Patrick continues to run with the power Jimbo Fisher has asked him to. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound sophomore is initiating contact, which defenders are not welcoming considering Patrick's size. Florida State needs a complement to Dalvin Cook.


FSU up big after 89-yard punt return

Florida State's Jesus Wilson returns a punt 89 yards for a touchdown. The No. 3 Noles are up 28-0 over Charleston Southern.
