Iowa lost a second standout today to the NFL draft as an early entrant. Junior James Daniels, a two-year starter at center, declared his intentions Friday, joining All-America cornerback Josh Jackson. Daniels was an honorable-mention All-Big Ten pick in 2017. Iowa had not lost a player early to the NFL since 2011. Coach Kirk Ferentz confirmed the departure of both in addition to the transfer of graduate QB Tyler Wiegers to Eastern Michigan.
