Auburn is hiring Memphis offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham to the same position. Just 29, Dillingham is completing his first season as Memphis' offensive coordinator after being promoted to the role when Darrell Dickey left for Texas A&M. He replaces Chip Lindsey, who left Auburn for the offensive coordinator role at Kansas under Les Miles. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn will be the team's primary offensive play-caller in 2019, according to a news release.

Darriel Mack Jr. has spearheaded UCF's comeback over Memphis, with four second half touchdowns (three rushing, one passing) and a clear determination to not let his team down with McKenzie Milton sidelined. Mack had multiple fumbles in the first half, but had no such problems in the second half - instead making the plays he had to make to turn the game around.

UCF has outscored Memphis 21-3 in the second half for two reasons: The Knights found a rhythm on offense and stopped fumbling, and the defense held Darrell Henderson and the Memphis running game in check. The second-half comeback looked similar to what UCF did in their first meeting, erasing a 30-17 halftime deficit to win. Nearly the entire fourth quarter is left to play so UCF's New Year's Six chances remain up in the air.

UCF has developed a reputation as as a third-quarter team, outscoring opponents 108-30 in the regular season. The Knights scored two touchdowns in the third quarter against Memphis to close the gap to one score.

UCF WR gives peace sign as he scores TD (0:49)

Memphis had 336 yards rushing in the first half against UCF, thanks in large part to Darrell Henderson, who went over 200 yards himself. Henderson finished the half averaging 10.6 yards before first contact per rush on his 10 carries. He was a problem for UCF in the first half of their previous meeting, but then the Knights shut him down to complete a comeback win. For UCF to have any chance to stay undefeated, it must find a way to stop Henderson.
