After a scoreless first quarter, Rice's Hayden Tobola drilled a 24-yard field goal to give the Owls a 3-0 lead over No. 21 Baylor early in the second quarter on ESPN.


Owls force first turnover of the night

Baylor QB Seth Russell was picked off by senior CB J.T. Blasingame at Rice's 33-yard line. However, the Owls were forced to a three-and-out. The game is still scoreless midway through the first quarter.
