North Texas sneaks by Rice 42-35 in 2OT

Willy Ivery plunged in from 4-yards out, Rice's Darik Dillard was stuffed on 4th-and-1 on the ensuing drive, and North Texas escaped Rice with a 42-35 win in 2OT on Saturday night.

Bears’ offense too much for Owls

After a scoreless first quarter, No. 21 Baylor's offense proved to be too much for Rice to handle. QB Seth Russell threw for 337 yards, meanwhile the Bears rushed for 292 yards combined. Owls senior RB Darik Dillard rushed for 124 yards on 14 carries. Baylor picked up a 38-10 road win over Rice. Box score
