Oregon landed a commitment from the nation's No. 217 overall prospect, athlete Jaylon Redd. Redd has the ability to play cornerback or receiver in college and gives the Ducks another speedy athlete on that roster. He is the fourth ESPN 300 prospect to commit to Oregon in this class, joining cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, tight end Tre' McKitty and defensive end Langi Tuifua. It's also another recruiting victory in Southern California, as the Ducks now have five commitments from that area.

ESPN Stats and Information

Colorado handed Oregon its second straight loss. The Ducks hadn't lost consecutive games in a season since 2007 (three in a row after QB Dennis Dixon tore an ACL).

Former Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. is in attendance at the Ducks game today. Just shouted out to Dakota Prukop as he and the Oregon offense take the field.

Oregon has been struggling with penalties all season. Mark Helfrich said it'd be a point of emphasis this week in practice. But through the first half the Ducks have racked up 55 yards of penalties, bringing their season total to 369 yards.

Oregon got some major boos when it lined up in its Swinging Gate two-point conversion formation following that touchdown. The Ducks came back in for the field goal but the general sentiment of fans was pretty obvious. Oregon has already attempted 11 this season and were 1-of-5 vs. Nebraska last weekend.

Move in day for Oregon students was Thursday so I was expecting this to be the rowdiest game day yet (especially since it's the Ducks' first conference opponent). But, with kick off in less than 10 minutes, the student section isn't even full yet.

Player news from Colorado-Oregon: Colorado QB Sefo Liufau -- who was injured versus Michigan last weekend -- is warming up in full uniform in Autzen. Looks like he'll be starting. Oregon running back Royce Freeman likely won't start today. He was injured last week versus Nebraska and spotted in a walking boot earlier this week. Back up Kani Benoit is slotted in his place. Oregon redshirt freshman left tackle Brady Aiello is picking up his second start of the season, stepping in for Tyrell Crosby, who suffered a career-ending injury versus Nebraska.

Should Oregon keep going for two?

Oregon continues its philosophy of always having a two-point option, but going for two cost the Ducks against Nebraska. Do the numbers support the Ducks' strategy?
