Man, Memphis senior WR Anthony Miller is fun to watch. Nine catches for 185 yards and two TDs vs UCLA. Showed great balance, hands, discipline. Pretty good for a former walk-on, no?

Love Josh Rosen's competitive spirit but a 3rd-year quarterback should know how to take care of the ball better than he did today. He learned a hard lesson at Memphis.

Josh Rosen was the quarterback of note coming into this game, but Riley Ferguson has been the best quarterback on the field in the first half. Ferguson has four touchdown passes and 228 passing yards, and Memphis leads the No. 25 Bruins 27-24 at the half. The Ferguson-Anthony Miller connection is one that is going to give a lot of defenses nightmares this season. Miller's diving 41-yard catch set up a 33-yard touchdown catch by Miller a few seconds later to put the Tigers ahead at the half.
