ESPN.com has obtained a copy of a letter Colorado State University sent to Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby "to express its strong interest in being considered as an expansion candidate." In the letter, dated July 25, Colorado State president Anthony Frank writes, "We believe our university has a great deal to offer. ... We appreciate the opportunity to tell our story so that you may get to know us better as we work with you throughout your process."
