With that 2-yard TD run by Dedrick Mills Georgia Tech is finally on the board. The Yellow Jackets avoided getting shutout at home for the first time since rival Georgia shut them out in 1957

At the half, Clemson leads 23-0, but the offensive stats look even worse. Clemson is currently out-gaining Georgia Tech 347-22. Clemson QB Deshaun Watson has 262 passing yards and leads Clemson with 27 rushing yards. Right now, four Clemson receivers have more yards than Georgia Tech, including Ray-Ray McCloud who has seven catches for 90 yards. According to ESPN Stats & Information, the fewest yards Clemson allowed in a first half in the last 10 seasons is -2 to Boston College in 2009. This is the second fewest yards allowed in a first half in the last 10 seasons for Clemson. Prior to tonight, the fewest yards Georgia Tech had in the 1st half under Paul Johnson was 32 yards vs Iowa in the 2009 Orange Bowl (January 5, 2010).
