ESPN Stats and Information

Ohio State at Indiana is the third-best matchup of Week 1, according to FPI. Ohio State has won 22 consecutive games against Indiana, dating back to 1990 when the teams tied. The Hoosiers have come close to knocking off the Buckeyes in their last two meetings in Indiana, but both of those came under coach Kevin Wilson, who resigned after six seasons in Bloomington and is now the offensive coordinator for Ohio State.

Austin Ward ESPN Staff Writer

Ohio State's season-opening trip to Indiana ranks No. 3 on the list of best games of the opening weekend this fall, according to FPI. The Hoosiers have lost 22 consecutive times in the series, but they have given the Buckeyes some competitive games recently in Bloomington -- with the combined margin of victory in the last two meetings there only 10 points. FPI has Ohio State as a 90-percent favorite, and Urban Meyer's team is one of only four in the nation the metric favors in every game on the schedule.
