Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly says the four players who were arrested Aug. 19 that are still on the team -- Te'Von Coney, Kevin Stepherson, Dexter Williams, Ashton White -- will be ready to play for the opener at Texas, but the decision on whether they can play rests in the school's hands. Kelly also said he doesn't know which QB will take the first snap Sunday, but that isn't a concern.

Former Notre Dame safety Max Redfield was formally charged Monday with carrying a handgun without a license, and he and four other players were charged with marijuana possession.
