Chris Ash has something of a head start scouting Ohio State after spending the last two years there as co-defensive coordinator, but the Rutgers coach isn't expecting that to be a big deal on game day. "Yeah, I know players, I know coaches, I know the offensive and defensive schemes that they're running," Ash said. "But that doesn't mean we have an advantage or anything like that. It comes down to players making plays on Saturday."

Rutgers coach Chris Ash says redshirt freshman Jawuan Harris will take over some of the duties of two-way standout Janarion Grant(ankle injury) against Ohio State. "He's not Janarion," Ash said. "He's our next best version of Janarion."
The struggles continue for Clay Helton and USC. After losing to Utah to fall to 1-3, the Trojans are one of 11 teams axed from CFP consideration by The Eliminator.
Rutgers wide receiver and kick returner Janarion Grant will miss the rest of the season after injuring his right ankle during a 76-yard run against Iowa last week.
Wisconsin jumped Michigan to No. 2 in this week's Big Ten Power Rankings, but the two teams will get to settle it on the field Saturday in Ann Arbor.

It was far from pretty, but Iowa secures a 14-7 victory against Rutgers in Piscataway. Iowa running back Akrum Wadley scored the go-ahead 26-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Iowa certainly doesn't look as invincible as once thought. It's going to be a dog fight for the Big Ten West division between Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska and even Minnesota.
