espnW 25 Power Rankings: Week 12

Things are getting serious in a hurry.

In California, five top-25 teams -- including No. 1 Mater Dei -- are on a collision course as they go for the Southern Section Open Division title.

In Texas, No. 2 Duncanville hits the home stretch with a 104-game winning streak and a familiar top-25 opponent hoping to get a third shot at the Pantherettes.

In Tennessee, No. 3 Blackman ended the season of the reigning national champions.

And in Indiana, a second clash of top-25 teams is set for the state semifinal.

Need we say more?

Just one more. In Illinois, Homewood-Flossmoor, No. 9 in last week's rankings, was forced to forfeit its season for rules violations and has dropped out of the rankings.
