espnW 25 Power Rankings: Week 8

Miami Country Day, which won the Nike Tournament of Champions in December, got an assist from No. 2 St. John's and moved up to the No. 1 spot in the espnW 25 Power Rankings for Week 8.

Maria Alvarez (South Florida) and Koi Love (Vanderbilt) have led Miami Country Day to wins over five ranked teams. But it was St. John's win over previous No. 1 Bishop McNamara that sent Miami Country Day to the top.

But don't think for a second that the dust has settled. St. John's and Bishop McNamara are set for a rematch on Feb. 9. Here's how they stack up for now.
