Louisville and Vanderbilt will play again Monday

May, 31, 2009
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- There will be baseball on Monday night in the Louisville Regional.

Vanderbilt scored five runs in the first two innings and zipped past top seed Louisville 8-4. Commodores starter Nick Christiani worked into the seventh inning and got out of several jams throughout the night.

The Cardinals have to be kicking themselves for their three errors and other miscues in the field. They also failed to get a big hit in several key situations, like when they had the bases loaded with no outs in the sixth and came away with only one run.

Monday's game will be played at 7 p.m. More to come following postgame interviews …
