Arkansas beats Cal State Fullerton, 10-6

June, 13, 2009
Arkansas led off the College World Series with an upset of No. 2 national seed Cal State Fullerton, beating the Titans 10-6 in Saturday's first game.

Cal State Fullerton was looking to overcome its largest deficit of the season, down 10-5 entering the bottom of the ninth. Christian Colon began to set things up for the Titans with his RBI single with one out to cut the deficit to four, but Gary Brown couldn't finish it off. Brown grounded out to end the inning and the game.

The unseeded Razorbacks go into the winners' bracket as Virginia and No. 3 national seed LSU prepare for their game tonight (ESPNHD, 7 p.m. ET).
