ESPN 100 wing Chaundee Brown has committed to the Wake Forest men's basketball team.
Brown chose the Demon Deacons over Kansas. He visited Wake Forest this weekend. He was at Kansas in early September.
Brown, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from First Academy (Florida), is ranked No. 30 in the ESPN 100 for 2017. He slots in as the No. 9 shooting guard.
"It feels really good," Brown said. "I remember the pain, tears and sweat. It all paid off."
Brown is the second ESPN 100 prospect to commit to Wake Forest since Danny Manning took over as coach in the spring of 2014, joining four-star center Doral Moore from the 2015 class. Brown is also the highest-ranked prospect to head to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, since Al-Farouq Aminu (No. 17) and Tony Woods (No. 27) committed back in 2008.
Brown joins three-star small forward Melo Eggleston in Wake Forest's 2017 class.
