A University of Maryland lacrosse player has been found not guilty after being accused of assaulting a woman at a concert.
Benjamin Chisolm was found guilty of public intoxication. He was found not guilty on an assault charge, and a more serious aggravated sexual battery charge was dropped before trial.
"Mr. Chisolm's name is clear," his attorney, Edward B. MacMahon Jr., told The Washington Post. "He certainly never sexually assaulted anybody. He didn't even assault anybody."
Prince William County, Virginia, police say a 49-year-old woman had fallen asleep on the lawn at a Zac Brown Band concert last June at the Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater in Bristow.
The woman told police that she woke up and found Chisolm touching her inappropriately. The woman did not testify at the trial.
