Oklahoma linebacker Travis Lewis has ruled himself out of playing Saturday at Florida State on Twitter.
"Won't be playing this week," he said. "Still another week away. Sorry sooner fans."
Lewis, OU's leading tackler the last three seasons, has been out with a broken big toe.
Lewis created optimism Sunday night that he might play this week when he tweeted, "I can walk and run, pain free without the toe hurting. All these equals GAME TIME!"
But Monday morning on the Big 12 coaches teleconference, Bob Stoops said he doubted Lewis would be ready.
