Shaquem Griffin's story is so much bigger than football. Annika Emmert is 13 and plays soccer. She was also born with amniotic band syndrome and had a portion of her right arm amputated. Some kids and even coaches don't high-five her after games because of her bionic arm. "It's always a big thing meeting someone like him who is exactly like you. It makes your heart pound."

Shaquem Griffin meets with two young fans -- Annika Emmert and Wyatt Falardeau, who both have 3D printed arms and are patients of UCF's Limbitless Solutions. Griffin told them he wanted to go grab ice cream, donuts and strawberry sodas now that his workout was finished.

"I was a guy who was under the radar who they didn't believe in at first but I feel like they're starting to believe now," said Shaquem Griffin," adding, "I have the entire nation behind me." He's so grateful for the enormous support he's had from all over.

Shaquem Griffin said that he has been invited to the NFL draft and he will be attending. That's a far cry from just a few months ago in January, when he was practically begging for an invite to the NFL combine.

Shaquem Griffin specifically asked cleat designer Marvin Baroota to have "Against All Odds" and "Trust the Process" on his cleats. Baroota told me that the logo on the front represents him and his brother, Shaquill. (Photo courtesy of Marvin Baroota).
