Jackson outperforming his Heisman season?

Lamar Jackson took the college football world by storm in 2016, but his numbers have been just as impressive this season. The junior QB has improved upon his touchdown-to-interception ratio and has led the Louisville offense to more yards per game. The Cardinals will play their regular-season finale on Saturday at Kentucky.

Asked Louisville coach Bobby Petrino whether Lamar Jackson deserves to be in New York for the Heisman ceremony: "I think he does for sure. I can't imagine there's a better player in the country than Lamar Jackson, his ability to throw the football, run the football. I know we had our struggles, but it wasn't his play. He was playing great and doing everything he could."
