The Utah Jazz went 16-of-19 on shots in the restricted area during the first half of Thursday's preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, putting them on pace for 32 such field goals. According to Second Spectrum tracking, just two teams made at least 30 shots in the restricted area during a 2017-18 game: the L.A. Lakers on December 31 (32) and the Denver Nuggets on February 25 (30), both against the Houston Rockets.
Utah didn't make any major offseason moves but fans shouldn't mistake that for a sign the Jazz are satisfied with the status quo.
