Bengals QB AJ McCarron said after the season that he would find out the results of his grievance against the Bengals on Feb. 15. That will determine whether he is a restricted or an unrestricted free agent in 2018. It's important to note there's no animosity here. McCarron wants his chance, sure, but he has said more than once that he understands the business is the business. There's no bad blood there.

Bobby Hart was waived by the Giants from IR on Feb. 9 after a tumultuous season. According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Hart told the team he wouldn't play in the season finale due to injury. He was waived/injured, but couldn't clear waivers until after the Super Bowl, where he went unclaimed and reverted to IR before being cut.

The Bengals have signed OT/G Bobby Hart to a one year deal, the team announced. Hart, a 2015 seventh round draft pick, started seven games for the Giants last season. "Bobby is a young player with three years of NFL experience, and he has very good upside and tools," Marvin Lewis said in a news release. "We are excited to add him to the team as we improve our offensive line. The offensive line is a focus area for us, and this is one of various steps we are taking to improve our performance."
