Source: Browns bring in Haley as O-coordinator

The Browns have hired former Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley to run the Cleveland offense under coach Hue Jackson, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Browns are working hard and are close to an agreement to make Todd Haley the team's offensive coordinator, according to a league source familiar with the talks. Haley spent the past six seasons with the Steelers, where he had a good run with Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell. The Steelers did not retain him after their playoff loss to Jacksonville. In the past four seasons, the Steelers were second in NFL scoring behind only the Patriots.

Re-grading every NFL team's 2017 offseason

Few paid much attention last March when the Minnesota Vikings signed Case Keenum to a one-year contract for $2 million -- but that move became one of the most pivotal of the 2017 season. Here's how every team's offseason acquisitions look now.

Pat McManamon ESPN Staff Writer

The Browns are in discussions with Mike Mularkey about the team's offensive coordinator position. Mularkey coached the Tennessee TItans for three seasons, but he and the team parted ways this morning. Mularkey would bring an experienced voice and play-caller to the coordinator position. He has been a head coach in Tennessee, Jacksonville and Buffalo, and a coordinator in Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Miami.

Comment from David Lee on being let go as quarterback coach: "I worked really hard (and) did everything I could to get those three young quarterbacks better. Cleveland is a young team that is on an upward path."
